Technician Electrical
Responsibility
- Daily operation of the electrical installations as per planned maintenance activity and follow up plans
- Carry out operation, troubleshooting and maintenance work tasks as an electrical skilled worker
- Report incident, deviations and hazardous items and systems
- Observe the technical conditions and propose technical improvements
- Report and carry out corrective red-line mark-up and other required documentation related to repair, overhaul, calibration testing and inspections
- If nominated, be a buddy for new electricians / Electrical Technicians and ensure necessary on the job training (OJT) and transfer of experience
- Carry out necessary inspections and verifications, including connection of 3rd party temporary equipment
- Participate in and/or approve MC and Commissioning activities
- Perform site approval of Notification of Electrical Installations
- Participate in Safe Job Analysis
- Act as Switching Supervior (Leder for Kobling)
- Act as Safety Supervisor for LV work *(Ansvarlig for Arbeid)
- Act as Safety Supervisor for HV work *(Leder for Sikkerhet)
- Ensure that tools, personal protection devices, test equipment, workshops, and related equipment and systems are maintained and kept in a good shape and conditions
Technical and personal skills
- Min. 4-5 years experience
- Candidate must have offshore experience
Candidate must have valid certificate for LV - Candidate must pass physical test to participate in emergency preparedness organization as member of search & rescue team
- Fluent Norwegian
