SURF Lead for Operator Company

Responsibilities

  • SURF Lead to join Carbon Management & Hydrogen (CM&H) Facilities department.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Management
  • Provide technical expertise for engineering,construction and installation of the subsea flowline and riser systems
  • Ensure that engineering, construction and maintenance of riser and flowline systems is performed in accordance with standards and functional specifications
  • Fellow-up contractor’s engineering,construction, testing,construction and installation activities within subsea flowline and riser systems
  • Provide technical expertise for the installation of the SPS structures and follow-up contractors installation activities
  • Follow-up commissioning,completion and start-up for the flowline and riser system.
  • Provide input to the project surveillance plan and perform surveillance according to agreed plan
  • Participate and contribute in safety review meetings (HAZID,HAZOP),audits, verification and design reviews etc. 
  • Participate and contribute in project risk ldentify and fellow up relevant risks and opportunities with corresponding actions.
  • Cooperate with the SURF Company Representative and SURF follow up team to ensure effective communication,coordination of relevant interfaces and elevate areas of concern and propose improvements and mitigating actions
  • Provide timely input to Contract management processes such as changes, TQ’s,NCR’s,VOR’s, document reviews, cost & scheduling
  • Assist in the preparation of SURF tender documents, tender evaluation and contract awards
  • Provide input to Basis of Design as required
  • Provide input to schedule planningand cost estimating in own area of responsibility
  • Prepare relevant parts of decision support packages
  • Provide input to preventive maintenance and inspection program for subsea facilities.
  • Assist with the development of operating manuals and ensure that the manuals relating to subsea pipeline systems and SURF components are produced with an acceptable quality and in a timely manner
  • Ensure that relevant technical documentation (LCI) is updated,correct and is accessible
  • Travelling to contractor’s sites is expected
  • Offshore work is expected

Technical and personal skills

  • University degree, preferably Master, in subsea engineering or other relevant discipline Work Experience
  • Minimum 1O ears relevant experience with Engineering, Fabrication, lnstallation and Operation of subsea pipeline systems and SURF scopes, preferably with both operators and contractors.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within field development of offshore projects
  • Multi-disciplinary: subsea knowledge and experience, preferably from both operators and contractors.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of all parts of subsea rjser, subsea flowline systems and SURF design, installation and operation.
  • Broad experience with subsea projects of both front-end design aspects as well as construction/installation and commissioning experience in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Be familiar with typical design codes relevant to engineering, design, construction and installation of subsea pipeline Systems and SURF component specification.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of relevant contractors and the latest market developments.
  • Good knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and reuirements relevant
