Plans, conducts and evaluates projects encompassing supervision of team of engineers and technicians, reviewing contractors’ work and budgetary framework. Works within company standards and policies under defined directions while receiving occasional guidance on techniques
Requires close interaction with other technical teams
Requires close interaction with Project personnel, the drilling organizations, and the Asset Level Team (ALT) leaders to ensure reservoir surveillance activities are consistent with ALT plans
Perform advanced, diverse and complex reservoir technical evaluations, often involving multiple concurrent projects with minimal of guidance and mentoring
Actively contribute with reservoir tech. input in production operations and well enhancement initiatives
Supervise the development and maintenance of the reservoir management plans and asset drainage strategy, including reservoir model history matching and performance predictions
Actively use of the holistic subsurface database in development of flooding maps as input to the annual new well target idea phase
Opportunity generation; support drilling plans/operations for optimal reserves drainage in coordination with the IWT team
Provide reserves, production profiles and risk evaluations
Provide input to licensees as required by Unit Operating Agreements or Resource Committees
Core member of a development/production team, actively mentoring of less experienced team mbrs
Lead reservoir modeling projects and related studies, recommend and run improvement initiatives such as IOR and technology implantation projects
Contribute with input to relevant management systems and best practices, reviews and improvements including functional administration/stewardship of reservoir technical manuals and procedures assigned to the section
