Lead the design, development, and optimization of CO2 mineralization processes, ensuring efficient and environmentally sustainable operations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to scale up laboratory-developed processes to pilot and commercial scales, focusing on process safety and cost efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency while maintaining product quality and consistency.
Evaluate and select process equipment, instruments, and controlsystems, ensuring compatibility with the CO2 mineralization technology.
Analyse process data, troubleshoot operational issues, and propose corrective actions to enhance process performance
Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations in the design and operation of CO2 mineralization processes.
Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and process flow diagrams.
Train and mentor junior engineers and operators in safe and efficient operationof the CO2 mineralization processes.
Technical and personal skills
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering, including substantial experience in scaling up and optimizing chemical Relevant experience within CO2 mineralization or similar may compensate for some years of experience.
Familiarity with CO2 mineralization technology and its integration into industrial processes
Proven expertise in process optimization, equipment selection, and cost reduction.
Understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations,particularly those related to CO2 capture and mineralization.
Proficiency in data analysis, statistical process control, and the use of relevant software tools.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute process development projects effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and convey complex technical conceps.
