Senior Process Engineer
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of CO2 mineralization processes, ensuring efficient and environmentally sustainable operations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to scale up laboratory-developed processes to pilot and commercial scales, focusing on process safety and cost efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency while maintaining product quality and consistency.
- Evaluate and select process equipment, instruments, and controlsystems, ensuring compatibility with the CO2 mineralization technology.
- Analyse process data, troubleshoot operational issues, and propose corrective actions to enhance process performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations in the design and operation of CO2 mineralization processes.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and process flow diagrams.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and operators in safe and efficient operationof the CO2 mineralization processes.
Technical and personal skills
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering, including substantial experience in scaling up and optimizing chemical Relevant experience within CO2 mineralization or similar may compensate for some years of experience.
- Familiarity with CO2 mineralization technology and its integration into industrial processes
- Proven expertise in process optimization, equipment selection, and cost reduction.
- Understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations,particularly those related to CO2 capture and mineralization.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical process control, and the use of relevant software tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute process development projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and convey complex technical conceps.
