Accountable for following up AFE cost control, forecast, annual budgets through close engagement with contractors assigned to individual projects Support the individual project team (PMT) with support related to project performance
Assigned roles, responsibilities, procedures and other.
Establish AFE structures, cost forecasts and budgets.
Establish and maintain project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in SAP. Coordinate the WBS and object breakdown structure with project Cost Estimator and Planning Engineer.
Assist in developing cost control strategy and reporting.
Work in close cooperation with Contractors to establish routines and reporting that meets the obligations set forth in the contract.
Control Contractor’s invoices in SAP and prepare for payment.
Prepare and follow up annual budgets.
Evaluate and control cost impact of any changes or variations.
Key player in supporting implementation of the Electronic Project Management System (EPMS).
Promote and use Europe Capital Project Management System (E-CPMS) in the project.
Technical and personal skills
Bachelor’s degree, less formal education may be compensated with relevant experience
5+ years of relevant experience. Broad and relevant experience can compensate for formal education. Minimum 5 years’ experience with project control in the oil and gas industry, including minimum 3 years as Cost Controller in major capital projects.
Good knowledge of electronic tools used for cost control. Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
