Global Category Buyer – Subsea SPS & SURF for Operator Company
Responsibilities
Support Global Category Manager in developing, a category strategy, monitor supplier markets, demand, forecasts, spend, assess suppliers, identify improvement levers and select priority opportunities for added value
lmplement activities defined in the Category Strategy, including setting final specifications and commercial conditions, define critical performance factors, tendering, evaluation of proposals, conduct final negotiations up to contract award
Execute contracts and ensure contract performance and adherence to contractual conditions, contract variations/amendments, handling of disputes and claims;
Manage supplier relationships; monitor supplier performance, support the drive for continuous improvement and/or supplier development, collect supplier feedback, reduce the cost of poor quality and non-productive time (NPT), optimize supply chain processes;
For larger capitaI projects and operations, be part of the project organization, establish project procurement strategy, coordinate between project and procurement organization, support smooth project organization, procurement reporting, manage non-conformities;
Technical and personal skills
Master’s degree in relevant field of study (economics, engineering, legal) or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years’ experience in strategic procurement in E&P industry
Technical knowledge/understandi ng of the respective categories
Knowledge of Global Markets within the respect ive categories of responsibility
Knowledge of Contract management (contracting skills, applicable law, lncoterms)
Knowledge and methods for Development of Procurement strategies, Specification assessment, Tender management, Tender evaluations, Risk management, Supplier management, Business Partner management, Logistics I Supply chain management, Operational procurement
Excellent negotiation skills with proven track record
