Ops IT Project Mananger – Maintenance for Operator Company
Responsibilities
- Delivering agreed project milestones and expected outcomes (quality)
- Detailed project and resource planning, tracking & reporting
- Project risk identification, tracking and mitigation
- Managing project progress and adapt work as required (and agreed)
- Tracking project time and cost
- Coordinating internal/external resources and activities as required
- Working closely with Ops IT PMO to ensure relevant IT processes are followed
- Managing relationships with relevant client and stakeholders
- As necessary, participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and reviews etc.
- Conducting formal project reviews as agreed
- Managing diverse team(s)
Technical and personal skills
- Preferably university degree within IT Project Management / Computer Science
- 10 -15 years of relevant IT Project Management experience
- Norwegian oil industry IT Project Management experience
- Experienced IT PM for Upstream Maintenance & Materials management Project deliveries
- Experience and understanding of Upstream LCI (Life Cycle Information) and Technical Information (DFO – Documentation for Operation)
- Good understanding of Upstream Oil & Gas IT Operations
- Strong Leadership and Project Management skills
- Demonstrated good communication skills: oral and written
- Work independently and take responsibility for results
- Capacity to manage high stress situations
- Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
- Conflict resolution skills
