Offshore Company Representative for Operator Company
Responsibilities
Ensure familiarity and observance of Company Emergency procedures
Ensure familiarity and observance of Company Logistics documentation including Norway Marine Operations Manual and Marine Vessel Induction Process
Review and familiarize with project specific documentation and procedures
Familiarise with terms of the contract
Provide input into HAZID/HIRAs and risk assessments
Coordinate where applicable with Marine Warranty Surveyor
Monitor the work undertaken and ensure it is completed safely and in accordance with the approved procedures
Act on behalf of Company during the management of change process
Ensure that SIMOPS are conducted in accordance with approved requirements
Attend project safety meetings and daily meetings onboard the vessel
Act as the focal point between Company and contractor for the permit to work
Inform client onshore about progress and liaise over project planning
Maintain a daily log covering all activities on the vessel
Prepare a daily summary report and issue by 0800 each day
Technical and personal skills
Engineering degree or diploma.
Less formal education may be compensated with relevant experience.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore construction as a specialist in one or more of the following: hydrographic survey, marine operations, subsea structures installation, flexible product installation, remote tie-in operations or pipelay
Training and experience with DP Operations
Training and experience with ROV / Diving operations
Offshore survival certificate and current medical
Leadership experience
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian
Strong commitment to the implementation of Company’s health, safety, environmental and quality philosophies.
Commercial awareness
Good interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills
