HSEQ Coordinator for Operator Company

Responsibilities

  • General HSEQ Support:
  • Provide general support and advice to HSE and Quality functions in the Project
  • Provide input and update to the HSEQ Governing Documents, such as HSE Program, HSEQ Activity Plan, Quality Plan, Assurance & Control Plan etc.
  • Support the main Contractor(s) in achieving their HSEQ goals and objectives
  • HSEQ fellow-up of the main Contractor(s) and their subcontractors, Site visits will be required (some travelling is expected).
  • Support the incident reporting process, participate in, or lead investigations, and fellow-up actions as needed
  • Quality Central I Quality Surveillance:
  • Provide input into the Criticality Assessments for each Work Package and maintain as needed.
  • Maintain the Quality Surveillance Program, ensuring that inspections and tests are performed and witnessed as per agreed lnspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Administer the Notification of lnspections (NOls) received from the Contractors
  • Coordinate representation at planned inspection and tests with the Work Package Leads and/or the lnspection Agency following receipt of the NOI
  • Provide briefings to all new lnspectors to clearly communicate the ethics and expectations when representing the Project in the field
  • Provide relevant technical documentation to lnspectors in a timely manner to ensure they have the required information and acceptance criteria to verify the inspection and/or test.
  • Ensure any anomalies or nonconformities resulting from inspection and/or tests are brought to the attention of the Work Package Lead
  • Regularly report progress to the Project Management Team and Work Package Leads on the status of the Quality Surveillance Program
  • Provide risk management support to the Project Team ensuring threats and opportunities are systematically managed, and mitigation strategies are implemented
  • Facilitate risk reviews with each Discipline
  • Maintain the Risk Register in cooperation with Risk Owners and Action Owners Provide risk management input to the Monthly Report and statistical data as needed

Technical and personal skills

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in an HSEQ discipline or other relevant education
  • Lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience mainly within HSEQ
  • Project experience in Execution phases is preferable
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Norwegian rules and regulations Experience in working with contractors/vendors
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) and preferably Norwegian.
