Lead Geophysicist/Geologists for Operator Company

Generate and develop new ideas and new exploration concepts
Maturation of leads and prospects including subsurface risk estimation and volume calculation
Integrate regional studies into play and prospect evaluation
Document and communicate prospect evaluation, align and present to Internal Peer Assists and Peer Reviews.
Play a key role in concession rounds and licence evaluation
Motivated to propose and test new technologies, workflows and software in order to promote successful exploration
Participate and lead data-room visits in collaboration with BD and Asset units
Skilled within own discipline: i.e Seismic interpretation, sedimentology, structural geology, pressure analysis

Enthusiastic and creative subsurface professional, motivated to develop new ideas and new exploration concepts
Relevant Master’s degree in Geoscience
Relevant professional experience – approximately 10 years
Experience working on the NCS (licence work/licence round evaluation)
Ability to deliver within limited time frames
A team-player, but also self-driven
Good collaboration and communication skills
Good knowledge of sub-disciplines considered an advantage (e.g. structural geology, sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, petroleum source geochemistry, basin modeling, petrophysics, reservoir characterization, play fairway analysis, pressure analysis, seismic technologies, attribute analysis, reservoir geophysics, reservoir modelling)
