Instrument Engineer for Operator Company

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for engineering support to offshore operations and to the modification and maintenance portfolio of GEA operations
  • Responsible for monotoring equipment/system performance initiating and ensuring corrective actions
  • Responsible for Technical Controlling Documents for engineering discipline
  • Responsible for providing engineering support to operaiton, modification projects
  • Develop long term facility modification and maintenance plans/programs to ensure cost effective operations and asset integrety throughout facility lifetime, including Phase – out plan for facilities operation. 
  • Ensure technical condition and equipment and system is maintained within defined standards
  • Ensure optimized equipment and system performance
  • Provide optimized preventive maintenance program for relevant systems
  • Ensure applicable standards, steering documents and regulatory requirements are followed
  • Responsible providing input to and managing challanging technical solutions, engineering performance and cost of modification projects. 
  • Deløiver Project Proposal form for new modification projects
  • Responsible for participation in FEL actiivties and to provide support during execution phase
  • Ownership to Technical Controlling Documents for engineering discipline
  • Responsible for spare part management and warranty follow up
  • Provide input to planning and scheduling processes
  • Responsible for contract management
  • Provide technichal input to the diviation process
  • Follow up of Research and Development projects

Technical and personal skills

  • Technical University Degree (BSc or higher) 
  • 2 + Years Experience or relevant technical experience
  • Teamplayer
  • Oral and written communication skills, both Norwegian and English
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Norwegian regulatory environments
  • Understand maintenance and project management processes and tools
  • Self driven
  • Strong personal leadership and drive toward teamwork
  • Ability to perform and lead effectively within a strong peer group and to drive toward optimal business solutions
  • Good communicating, influencing, negotiating and networking skills
  • Able to drive continious improvements and instigate and make change happen
  • Set ambitious, yet realistic goals and targets, and consistently achieve these
